Newsflash

         

A family with 3 children in our school district lost their home in a fire on Sunday, January 10, 2010. They are in need of aid in the following areas:

 

Grandmother & Mother: Medium woman's tops size 9/10 pants

Father: XX men's shirts and 38/32 pants

Daughter age 14: Large shirts and  12-14 woman's

Son age 5: Sz 6/8 children

Cody a small doggie also survived; but he lost his toys and treats -smiles

 

They are in need of toiletries, socks and undergarments. No appliances as there is no storage.

Items are being collected at the 5ive-6ix School in Hackensack.

Praise and Worship

New Hope is dedicated to praise and worship.  We have several groups that provide this focus in our church:  Prayerworks, Worship Ministry, The Music Ministry and Judah.

Prayerworks
Prayerworks is the Intercessory Prayer Ministry that undergirds the total ministry of the church in the community. It also focuses on physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, local, national and global prayer concerns.

 

Worship Ministry
The Worship Ministry is that team who selects and trains lay members for participating in worship. They also develop calls for worship and other special events.

 

The Music Committee
The Music Committee is comprised of the Minister of Music, Choir Presidents, Musicians, and a member at large, usually Chair of the Worship Ministry. Together they oversee the Music Ministry of the church and offer recommendations for improving the Ministry to the Glory of God.

 

Judah
Judah is the liturgical dance ministry of the church.
